How to know the Status of 221(g) Additional Administrative processing

Hello

I was attended the visa stamping on AUG 18 2008,and was issued the blue 221(g) form with Additional Administrative Processing.

My H1b was granted and I got I797 in October 07. I went to chennai consulate for stamping on AUG 18 2008 .

At the time of stamping they asked me the following Questions and Docs:

1.Designation:
Ans.Programmer Analyst

2.Project name:
Ans. Application Support Managed services,Its an ongoing project working from onsite and offshore.

3.Degree
Ans: Bachelor Of Technology,Specialised in Computer Science and Engineering.

4.Verified my B.Tech Certificates.

5.Verified and Took the Client Letter and Offer Letters.(observed more than couple of minutes )

6.Return Back my PassPort and Issued 221(g) blue form stating that they will contact in a few weeks

form Checked : Requires Additional Administrative Processing.

How to know the staus of my case,In VFS site they mentioned clearly for the blue form AAP ,not to contact consolate.

They will inform you within 2weeks of time limit or may be more depend on them it's going under PIMS verification.

did not contact me for the submission of the additional documents,
can i go ahead and submit all the documents,will there be any problem if
i submit all the docs,and will they ask all the candidates who were issued the 221(g) to wait until they inform them to submit the Docs,and where to check the status of administrative processing after the submission of all the documents.

you can Submit Docs any time, but they inform you about next step within 2weeks of your submition that docs which is mentioned in 221g,

Omm,As u said in my previous request,PIMS verification will take at max 1 week time,But its almost 6 weeks,What shall i do from my side for quick processing.
Do I Need to send again all the documents that mentioned in the site(found one PDF for processing Pending ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING kinda) ,If the case need to be start processing.

we cant do in this process. Admin process sometimes takes time. they will inform you by email or phone when they complete the process.

My husband went to H1b interview on 15th September at Mumbai.Consulate verified his documents andgave him yellow form of administrative processing.Have been to consulate couple of times.But no response from them.Does any one have any idea how long such proceesing generally takes and what is the wait time ?

My husband got an email from the consulate. Below is the email from the consulate

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you that the administrative review for your US non-immigrant visa application has been received.
You DO NOT require scheduling another appointment. Please visit the VFS office with your yellow pending letter, passport and yellow envelope. YOU do not need to come to the CONSULATE.
If you have be given a white pending (221g) letter you need to come to the consulate any working day at 9.30 am with your passport, yellow envelope and documents pertaining to your application.
Please carry a copy of this email for ready reference.
