Stamping in Bahamas ??

Hello immi helpers,

Thanks for your previous helps. I have one more doubt today.

I am on OPT right now and working as an consultant to one client. I got approval for H-1B, now i want to for stamping before 10th Nov. as i am going to india in mid of Nov.

The concern is.. i am not getting dates for MEXICO (Tijauna, Matamoras, Nogales, Ciudad juarez) and not even for Canada. I have heard that we can go for stamping to Bahamas also..?

1.) Can we go to Bahama for our first time H-1B stamping ?

2.) Why Bahama is not so popular destination as far as visa stamping goes?? I mean why people always choose to go to either canada or Mexico when they can't go to their mother country ??

3.) How soon do we get our stamped passport back in Bahamas? same day or next day?

Just get your stamping done in India. There is no need for a special trip.

I don't know .. but everybody says that stamping in India is not good.. it's risky..!!

So, i thought to get it done here only ..

If your qualifications are legitimate and your employer is not a fraud, there is no problem getting stamping in your home country. Far more people receive stamping than are denied or require more processing.

You have a US degree so that is in your favor too. Take the proper paperwork and don't worry.
