Having B1 Visa, Can get L1 Visa Re-Stamping

Hi,

I had L1 previously and I came back to india to join indian office. My job in US office was terminated.

Later I had to visit US on business purpose, so I went for B1 visa. During the stamping of B1, my L1 visa was cancelled.

Now I may have to go back to US and join US office again. My petetion is still valid, till Jun 2009. Can I apply for L1 re-stamping?

Or do I have to start the L1 process from scratch?
