221 g white fomr at Mubmai

Hi everyone,

i had a interview on 30th-sept 2008, VO has gave me 221(g) white page (it's list of required documents). and told me plz submit all ticke marked doucments to VFS consulate between any working time.

I am a MCA. I am very upset, i am not concentrate my work where i am working.


Letter contains

Your visa is refused today under section 221(g)of the INA essentially, this section states that further documentary information is needed before the visa can be adjudicated. Plz come with the request documents on any working day betn 10.00 am to 10.30 am.

Docs List :

Offer letter (orginal)
tax doucuments
Degree certificate/ Markseet.
soem other company documentsw......

What should i do?

My query is:

221(g) white form is positive/negative for getting visa.
what mean of other colors (white/blue/pink....)

How much time it will take?

which doucments should i send to vfs original and xerox copy. (xerox copy or notarized copy is better?)

got 221(g) at mumbai consulate

i got 221(g) at mumbai consulate because of DUI which happend in 2005 but the CASE WAS DISMIISED. i was figerprinted in 2006 then on 30th sep 2008 went for h1 stamping and got the 221(g). went through medical test. all formalities done. still waiting for the stamped visa to be returned.

anybody going through similar phase please reply !!!
