Have H1, not travelled yet. Can I transfer it to other company?

I have H1 Visa. But current company has not reverted back with plan on my travel. Not expecting in near future (say 1 year). My H1 is valid for 2 years and I do not want to loose time.

What do you suggest me to do? Can i apply / transfer my H1 to other company? what kind of issues i could face, if any?
