Passport lost in US; do I need H1 Stamping again after I get reissued?

Hi Everyone,

I have a troubling issue which is of very important for me, I lost passport in US and applied for it through Indian embassy now it is in processing. But my concern is do I need H1 stamping again from the US consulate either from neighboring countries or India, as I already have valid visa photocopies and scanned documents of my lost passport and H1 visa. I request you to please provide your valuable information on this issue.

You would need the approval copy and duplicate I-94 which you have to apply (in case you lost that too). Yes, you would need a visa stamp if you want to travel and re-enter.
