L1 to H1 Date of Join

I am currently in L1 and applied H1 this year and got selected and also got approval notice with COS. But my H1 employer is facing problem to find out project for me. So Can I continie on L1. If yes How long I can stay in L1 visa while my h1 is approved (approval on Oct 1).

Is it mandatory to join my H1 emplyer, because he also find difficult to get project on h1.

What happened If I dont join my H1 employer, so that Can I continue on l1?

No, you cannot work on L1. It is illegal. Read the 1000+ other posts on the same subject.
