---- Taxes are the same for everyone irrespective of whether you are on H1 or any other status. There are exceptions, but they are too many to be lsited and discussed here. Browse through the IRS website to have an undertstnafing of this
---- Apart from Federal tax , you have to pay medicare tax, state taxes (as applicable to the state you are resding in) and then local, regional and county taxes. This you will have to learn from your employer
