L1 lost Job husband on h1

Hi

Wife is on L1 and i am on H1, my wife lost her job in the recssion.
what are the alternatives of she staying here with me.

1. convert her Visa to h4, but she will not be able to work with this.

any other ideas?

2.how far she can stay with L1 without Job?

pls help with these.

She should immediately file for COS to H4. No options to work unless she gets on a H1b or L1 again from the ex-employer.
