Do I need to start GC procedure?

Hi everyone,

My husband is on H1B and his company will start GC in EB2 category next year. I am also on H1B and my H1B - 6 years will expire before my husband file I-485 (I think it will take 5 years) for both of us. So to get visa extension for me, do I need to start GC procedure seperately or there is any other option so that I don't need to spend extra money for starting seperate GC procedure?

Yes, to extend your H1 you should have filed a labor at least 365 days before your final NIV date.
