Driver's License Renewal on I-539 receipt

Gentlemen: My I-94 expires Jan 7'09 so with my drivers license. I have a pending extension and conversion to H4.

Question: Can my Virginia Driver's License be renewed on an I-539 receipt.

Usually an I-94 is needed. Check your state's DMV requirements. Do your homework before posting a question.

Hi,

As correctly mentioned - please check the DMV requirements of ur State.
Its different for all the states.
Like For Colorado- For H1 /L1 Holders - they do the Immigration verification (for renewals also) which is done by separate Department (which takes about from 1-2 months)and they send the details to DMV and then license is issues/renewed
But that is not the case in California.

So check ur state DMV requirements .
