    H1b - H4

    Hi

    I got H1b in oct 2007 but not getting project till now.
    hence i dont have any pay stubs. and i have not got stamping yet.
    now i have to go to india for personal reasons urgently and i need to
    come back after a month.
    i) can i travel with my previous H4 visa which is valid until sept 2009.
    Is that one still valid.
    or should i convert my H1b to H4. In that case what is the procedure.

    You have been out of status for over a year! Why have you not addressed this issue before now?

        What were you doing all this time? Talk to an attorney. You have been out of status for more than a year.
