H1 Transfer - help needed

I am currently working for Company 'A'. Company 'B' has offered a job and they transferred my H1 B from 'A' to 'B'. The request is filed in USCIS and got the receipt. Now how long I can work with company 'A', will there be any legal issues, if I continue with A without moving to my new company 'B'?

You can work for A as long as your H1 with A is valid.

Once you get B's approval notice and I-94, you need to work for B.
