Can we start working without EAD if we are on L2 visa??

Hi ,

I have a question. Lets say that we are on L2 visa and we dont have either EAD or SSN. I wonder is there any way that we can start working?
Please let me know the various possibilites.

You cannot work until you have an EAD in your hand. Once you receive an EAD then you can apply for SSN.

For L2, you can apply for SSN without EAD if the office accepts the application. To work, you definitely need EAD.

SSN does not give you the right to work.

... whether you can work without an EAD. You did not ask whether you can apply for SSN.

What? If you can work without EAD, why did the USCIS even have the requirement of getting EAD to work, they must be fools I guess.

... what they're planning. They plan to somehow get a SSN and then use this to work even if they don't have an EAD.

Well, everybody has a right to do what they feel like, whether its legal or not!!!
