Job change - H4 Visa entry

I have a quick question regarding H4 visa. I have my H1B petition valid till may 2009, and based on that my spouse got H4 visa, but she is still in India. I am now moving to a different employer and transferring my H1B to them.

Q. Can my wife come to US with her existing H4 visa already stamped in her passport? She will have my new I797 to show to the immigration officer. OR Did she need to go for stamping again with the new petition?

I will appreciate if you can help me answering my question.

She can come on her existing H4 as long as she carries I-797 from new employer.
