Issue with the Visa appointment

I faxed the photocopy of my passport to my father in India to get the HDFC DD for the visa stamping. After I got the DD I realized my passport is expiring soon so applied for the renewal here in Indian Embassy in DC and now I got my new renewed passport. Now I tried to fill in the details in the VFS website its recognize only my old passport no but I suppose to enter only the new passport no. I would really appreciate if some help on this issue.

Just contact VFS and they will switch the PP number in their system. You can also book with the old number and submit both passports for the visa stamping bound together with a band.
