Query abt I-797

I attended the interview on this 17th ... VO told me tht visa will be issued and passport be returned in 7 days ... But she didn't returned my I-797 ... I asked her if any other documents will be returned and she told me I will get those with passport ...

Is this the regular procedure to keep the I-797? I gave the interview at Delhi embassy ... Also now when I check VFS site for passport tracking it says "Your passport has not been handed over to VFS. Kindly contact our regional call centres for further queries." .. y is tht so?

Hi,

DON:T WORRY....u will get ur I-797 with ur Passport.
Yeah..nowdays its the normal practice/procedure to keep I-797 Original.

But as I always said that after interview u should always confirmed from VO that my I-797 is with you ...and they will let u know that when will it be returned.
