H-1B, How many hours is full time.

My employer has decided to cut my hours from 40 to 36 since business is down. They say they have contacted the attorney and he says as long as I am employed at least 35 hours I am still considered full time by immigration status. I am on H-1B status...........Does that sound right.should I take consultation from an attorney or start looking for new job ASAP.

30+ hours a week as a salaried employee is considered full time.
