Last name printed incorrectly in Approval notice- plz help

Hi,

My last name is printed incorrectly(an extra alphabet) in H1 Approval notice (I-797B Notice of action) issued by the consulate.

Last name: NARAYANA RAO
printed as NARAYANAN RAO (extra N)

The first name is correct.

Is it ok? Or should I get it corrected before attending the Visa interview.

But it was given correctly while submitting the application of H1.


Please advice. Need help.

Hi,

As per my view- you should get it CORRECTED .
to avoid future problems like wrong name in Visa , Driving License , any renewals u do , green card etc..
