I am planning to apply for H4 stamping.
Below is my employment details.
I am in dilemma how to answer if visa officer asks questions about my employment and what dates (actual worked dates or H1B valid dates) should I need to fill in DS-157 FORM...
1) I came to US on H4 and changed status to H1 for company A. This H1B was valid from Dec 2004 to Sept 2007. But, I got my SSN in Feb 2005 and worked for 3 months only (from May to aug 2005) and has pay stubs for these months only.
2) H1B transferred to company B in Jan 2006 and it is valid upto Jan 2009. I worked from Jan, 2006 to May 2007 and has pay stubs for this period. I stopped working since June 2007 due to maternity and baby care. Applied for I-485 as derivative applicant in July 2007. I left to India in Sept 2008. So I didn't work for company B from June 2007 to August 2008 and no pay stubs for this period. But, my group medical coverage was continued with this company until I left US.
How would you like me to take employment letters from these companies? I mean employment duration...They are flexible to give the way I want....
Will the above employment gaps create any problems for H4 stamping?
Please help me in this regard.....
Thanks
