Ds-157 special skills

Hello everyone,

I am going back to India and need H1B visa stamping. DS-157 asks for special skills - I did PhD in molecular biology in USA.

Is that considered a special skill?

Do I have to carry any special documents related to my PhD?

Do they do background check on everyone who say yes to this 'special skills' question?
