leaving the US for vacation

I'm currently working in the US on work visa. I'll go home for vacation during xmas. Do I need to submit my I94 at the US airport and get a new one when returning? Or do I just keep it? On it it says valid till 2011

YES, unless it it to Canada/Mex with travel less than 30 days.
