is H4 Visa valid after H1B transfer?

    is H4 Visa valid after H1B transfer?

    Hi,

    I worked for Company A and got the H1B extension approved for me and my family. Now my family had gone to India for a vacation and they had got their H4 extension Visa stamping. After they got the stamping I had to transfer my visa to a new company Company B and now working for Company B.(my family is still in India)

    Now does my wife and daughter need to go to visa stamping again or they come to US as they already have a visa?

    H4 visa is not linked for a particular company. H4 can be used as long as you maintain valid H1b status.

      H1 transfer(s) does not affect H4. H4 remains valid until its expiry.

        But in wife visa they had printed my old company name. Is that problem when she travels to USA?

          That is always the case. NO. She should carry your latest approval notice I797.
