H1 extension

Hi.
I have completed 6 years and just got my extension approved. Even though I had asked for a three year extension, they approved only for one year. Is that normal?
My I-140 is approved and I-485 pending for three months.

Not normal unless the LCA filed with H1b extension was expiring in 1 year. Ask your attorney to follow up.
