H1B stamping in Mexico

Hi,

I am traveling to India in the last week of February and booked a stamping appointment in Tijuana for Feb 6th. Recently, I have heard that the first H1B stamping can no longer be done in Mexico for Indians. Is this true? I am concerned that I might not be able to find another appointment during my stay in India at a US Consulate in India.

H1B stamping in Tijuana

Hi I am also in the same boat.

I am going for stamping in Tijuana on Feb 26th, booked this appointment in Oct last week. I called the Tijuana consulate whether to go for H1 B stamping or not, they said to come for stamping.

This is My first H1B stamping, can u please guide me whether its safe to go mexico or Home country?

I have 797B and COS rejected as i was out of country when my H1B was applied.

Please help me ....
