H1 B bridging - A-B(pending)-C?

Hi I was working for employer A. left it on 2nd jan 2009 . Joined employer B .they filed for my h1 on 23th dec 2008. the status is in pending , they have mailed me the acknowledgement reciept. But
B is horrible company, I want to join employer C(by transfering h1) can I do that or should wait for this petitionof B to get approved.
My petition with employer is till May 2009
