Unable to book the appointment after filling the form

Hi Experts,
I started filling the DS-156 & 157 form, next it asked for petition details, since im yet to receive from my employer, i kept on hold and i was searching for couple of things.

1. Where is the option of "add co/worker family members travelling together". Since my wife is travelling along with me how do i fill the form together.

2. Since my employer is US based company, they have little knowledge on visa stampings in india. I just started over and filled the form, and i got the option of save and exit, i was unable to select the date of interview.

Could somebody please guide me step by step, how do i do that? I am coming to india for vacation my case is like, i got h1b stamping with company A and left the company and joined company B, got the petition approved and also my company A visa stamping expires on april 2009.

You need petition details without which you will not be able to book.

Thanks a lot for the information. Once i get my petition details i will try and if i have any questions i will let you know.
Another question, is if i want my passport collected with the new visa on the same day, i mean in the evening, where should i specify this option. Is it on the website or should i specify somewhere during the interview. I am planning to take up the interview in Chennai consulate. The reason is since im on vacation, i would be going here and there and wont be able to collect the passport. Is there a option, please let me know.

Is collecting the passport on the same day as an impact on the interview with the VO. Coz i have seen posts like if we collect the passport sameday, the VO much suspect and might have impact on the decision on granting the visa. Is it true??

Duration for passport return cannot be predicted. They will send it home through bluedart. VOs in general do not rush on passports. Most cases can collect passport at least by next day.
