my h1b case still showing in Pending status

Hi,

I applied H1b for the year 2009cap, in April 2008. The online status is showing case recieved on May 14th And the status is Case recieved and Pending.

I asked my employer, why the delay is happening, they replied we dont know.

Can any one tell that, why the delay is happening and still how long it will contituned in the same status.

I am also in same boat.

Now 3 months over, even i am not getting any reply from embassy.

They are not replying- Im not understanding what does it mean?

If process it taking long time then, is it mean denied chances are more?

Why dont you guys check the authenticity of the tracking number provided. - All the Digits/Word has specific meaning. You can search in this site, where in you can calculate its authenticity.

I did not get any Reference number in the 221g green slip, instead of i got date only.

How we can check the authenticity.
If you know please tell me.

Me on the same boat, I finished my interview on 24th of december 2008, the VO kept my passport and DS forms and issued me pink slip with a batch ID 2008358 YYYY , and my status on the report is still "pending process" its almost close to one month

There could be two possibilities:

1) Your H1 employer must have RFE

2) The reputation of your H1 employer may not be good. USCIS is doing a lot of investigation.

There are some employer/ people who **** projects, who **** experiences etc.

So beware of this.

Actually my case is about, still I have not received my approval notice, still it is showing as Case recieved and Pending.

My employer is saying that, some time some cases will go under security check due to that it will take time to get the approval notice.

Is that correct, if so, still how much time it will take.
