travel before visa expiration

I need some information regarding...H1 & H4 visa..

I have stamped H4 visa on the passport, which is going to expire in Oct 2010 i.e next Oct.. and I am planning to visit India in Aug,09

Now could you tell me.. how many days prior I could travel out of US and back to US before my visa expires in Oct,2010

for example: Any condition like if I have only 3 to 6 months remaining for visa expiration..US immigration will not allow me to enter into USA

i.e is there any time limit for visa expiration for entering back in US??
