Hi,
I have spent 2 years on my previous H-1B visa(which expired in 2005)
Then I stayed outside country for over 1 year
Then I spent 3 years on an L-1B visa.
I have read the remainder option for H-1B visas on immihelp site, and wanted clarification based on the case above.
A) If I use the remainder option for H-1B and try to use the remaining years from my previous H1B then how many years will I get?
1) will it be 1 year since I have already spent 5 years in all in US including the H-1B & L-1B durations?
2) Will it be another 3 years since I have spent only 3 years on L-1B and was out of country for more than 1 year since my last H-1B stay?
B) Additionally, pls let me know that if I get a new L-1A, how many years will I get the visa for?
Thanks,
