H1B process is it stopped after getting back passport ?

Hi Guys,

After 1 month from the interview , still my case is under administrative processing so decided to get back my passport from Chennai US consulate and have sent a mail regarding the same .

Please let me know , whether asking back the passport will stop my H1B process to proceed further ?

h1b stamping what is meant by processing?

hai guys
i appeared for visa interview for H1b stamping in december firstweek. still i am getting reply saying that pending for administrative processing..
let me know what does it mean? what exactly going on? will there be any chance to refuse visa after this stage? expert comment is highly appreciated
