H1b Ext New Delh 21st Nov 08 issued 221g
Dear Members/Readers, sry for late post
I have been to US in Aug 2006 -Nov 2008. Came to visit parents in India and attended for interview at New Delhi Consulate on 21st Nov 08 for my H1b Extension and got a 221g (green).
I had sent the requested documents + Passport on 11th Dec 08 at VFS location (dropbox) (unemployement wages from my employer , w2 forms of all my employer employees,project details )
On Jan 6th 09 i got a call from consulate asking me how long i was in US and if so she asked me to send them W2 (2006 & 2007) and Paystubs (6 months) which i did electronically ( all originals i was in projects throught 2006-2008) and gave my ADP site login userid and password too.
I recieved an email form them saying 'thank you for quick and prompt reply".
After 2 weeks I sent an email back asking for update and they still say "Under Administrative Processing".
I am still waiting for my pp and dont know how much time it will take eventhough it is genuine.
Appreciate if any one can share there exp or give an advice.....
