  • Married in court

    Hi

What happens if a couple gets married in an unconventional way, meaning in a court (Marriage bureau) rather than getting married in a wedding hall with proper traditional customs. In that case the couple won't even have a Wedding invitation card nor will they have proper marriage pics with their relatives or pics displaying any Wedding method. This happens in case where there is love marriages, usually in India. All they can produce are the pics of a bunch of people who will sign at the court as witness.

My question is will the visa be rejected if the candidate is not able to submit of these things. Can only the Marriage certificate won't do.

    Please advice

    Thanks

---- the onus is on you to prove that you were legally married and that your marriage is valid and the marriage certificate is genuine and authentic
