Need help regarding H4 at chennai, urgent

Hi,

My husband went on H1 in april 08 but has been placed only in oct 08. Now he has sent me all the papers n i need to go for my H4 stamping in feb 3rd week to chennai.
I have his latest pay stubs but I have doubts whether i cant show the officer his W2 coz he only got job in Oct 08.

Will somebody plz tell me if we can manage with the latest pay stubs n bank statements or must provide a W2? Is there ny way to avoid this situation?
Also please let me know what is the minimum balance in the bank that need to be shown to the officer?

Plz its urgent.An early reply would be highly appreciated.

It is illegal to be on bench without pay. Your husband should complain to DOL on a WH4 form in order to avoid future problems with the immigration for you as well as for him.

USCIS can revoke previous H1bs if they find out at any time in the future that the person was not in status.
