Dear all,
I need to get some legal advice on immigration issue I have.
I came into Unied States in 2006 as J-1 Participant.My visa was for 18 month ( Internship Program). I used to work for company where i had my training. Then my host company offered me H1B visa, they were my sponsor and applied all papers. I have received an approval of H-1 B visa on October 2007. Then I travel back to obtain a visa and return to USA in November 2007.
I worked for my company until March of 2008, i have had some problems with my employer, they did not follow the job contract and have not paid me wage. I decided to quit them and i got the job in a company where I used to work as J-1 student. They promised me to change my papers and staff like that. But since March 2008 up to now, they have not done anything, they just keep telling me everything is okay, but I know that it's not okay, I guess i Lost my status just because they failed to file my papers.
Now I do not know what to do and where to ask for help.
