H1-B Extension

My I-797 Expires in Sep-09.
My 6 years of H1-B expires in Feb-2010.
I have an approved labor.
My I-140 has been filed in Apr-08 and pending approval.
My company has laid me off.
Can I file for my H1-B extention through other consultant, based on the pending I-140.
Is there any website where I can find genuine consultant who can file my extension.
Please advise.

---- You cannot file for extension from any other consultant or employer. First you have to transfer your H1 to another company if you want to work for them and the employer should do all the paperwork to transfer your H1

---- Your extension of H1 will not be based on a pending I-140. It has to be approved (so that you file for a 3 year extension)

Is there any website where I can find genuine consultant who can file my extension.
