    applying for L2 while having valid H1B in India

    Hi,

    I want to apply for L2 and go to US as a dependant with a kid.

    I am having valid H1B (till 2010) from my employer but I have never travelled to US on H1B.currently i am on long leave.

    So can I apply for L2 while having valid H1B and will my H1B remain valid if i get L2?
