Hello!

If I well understood, the H1B has a dual intent as it is possible to also apply for Green Card processing.

1. Who can apply for the Green Card: the employer or the candidate(the alien) ?

2. How long does the processing of the Green Card application usually take ?

1. Green card is a three stage process. The Employer initiates the process by filing a PERM Labor Certificate when the employer wants to sponsor your GC.
