H4 Stamping

My wife is going for H4 stamping to chennai consulate, I am trying to take appointment could any of you Please clarify the Visa Renewal Criteria


She came in H4 on Dec2006, transfered to H1 on Oct 2007, worked and came back to H4 on Dec 2008(valid till March 2011). In the meantime, I chaged my Employer and had my H1 transfer( got approved last week).

I am trying to understand the critieria, but could not get into a correct solution. could any of you Please help me.

One more question,since my wife is going for H4 stamping , I believe she doesn't not need to carry any her H1 related douments, her paystub and w2.
Only the approved COS for H4 should be enough. Please let me know

What criteria are you looking for? She should carry her entire immigration history and continuous legal stay proof. No one knows what they will ask for.

Are you applying for the same class of visa which is currently valid or has expired within the past 12 months?*

The answer would depend on when her H4 visa expired.

The difference between a Yes and No to this would be in the number of available appointments and nothing more than that.
