Hello,
I have friends whose legal counsels have told them that it is O.K if they change their H-1 status to another one within 180 days of the H-1 kicking in if they haven't actually worked or been on leave. Once you cross the 180 day mark, you are out of status.
Is there any such or similar statute in the law?
Looking forward to some insight on this.
Thank you
Avi
