I went to US on h4 visa with my husband in jan 2008 & stayed there till oct 2008. My h4 visa got expired on July 2008, but I got h4 extension approval.Also meanwhile I applied for my h1 & got selected & my h1 petition was approved.After that I came to India(my husband still in US) on vacation.
Now in India I went for my h1 stamping on 18th feb & there I was given form 221g with my h1 status pending.They have taken all required documents along with my I797 original.
So now can I go for my h4 stamping with my h1 case still pending??
How can I take my h1 petition I797 from US consulate before going for h4 visa stamping??
Can I close my h1 visa case??
