transfer visa

Is there a cap to transfer H1 visa from a univeristy (non cap organization) to a company where the visa cap holds?
Earlier I had visa in a profit prganization which I transferred to university. Now I want to tranfer to a profit prganization. Will the visa cap hold or will it be simple transfer?

If you already had a cap subject H1 in the past and have H1 time left, no cap for you. Apply any time.
