Hi,
Actually, I came to US on H4 visa in June 08 and then later got my H1 visa approved and stamped in Oct 08. My H4 visa was not cancelled by US Embassy during H1 stamping and it does not have any cancellation stamp.
1. Does this mean I can use the H4 visa in future? Is this legally possible?
I entered to US on H1 with a new I94 in Nov Last year and have been working since then but due to slow economy I might loose the project so in that case.
1. Can I go out of the country and come back again on the existing H4 visa with new I94? If I do this then will my H1 visa expire/cancelled or I can use it in future when market improves. I mean can I come back on H4 with a new I 94 and keep H1 visa alive the way it happens in COS for keeping H1 alive. Do I need to do formalities any form for USCIS to get this done? I have all the pay stubs for the duration of my H1 stay.
Pl. give your suggesstions.
Thanks,
Ankita
