Urgent advice required on H1b Status/Transfer

Hi All

I hv been working on H1b visa for a year.Now my company going out of business and revoking all his H1b in 45 days.

Also in this bad market and strict INS, companies are not transferring H1b without long term project.

Please suggest

1.If there is any other way to look for job and start working again when get job with the same H1B.

2. Can I go back to india and start attending IV calls from VOIP ?

3. if i can get my visa status(from H1b) into some other work visa(if there is any possiblity).

2.Can i go to some other non-work visa like H4b and keep hold on H1b.
to look for job,when i get job,can i be waived form lottery system or i would have to start the process from scratch.

1. Converting to B2 is an option but you need to find a job soon and have the H1b PPd before a decision on B2 is made.

4. 2 comes after 3? There is no H4"b". It is just a H4. If your spouse has a H1, that is a possibility. Read the FAQs about cap-count. You are exempt.
