FILING H1B Provisional Basis for MASTERS

Hi,

This is my last semester and i will be graduating in May2009. I will have MBA from SUNY-Stony Brook.

This means Technically i will have my masters degree certificate in may.

My question is: If any employer hires me and is ready to sponsor H1 this year in April, Can i apply on provisional basis in master's Quota?

I can attach a letter from university stating that i will be getting my master's certificate in May.

Also i have applied for my OPT - Expecting to receive EAD card by June 1st week

You do not qualify for the 20k unless you have your degree issued before April 1st. It used to work in the past, not anymore.

You can start working on OPT and they can apply next year.
