Can I file I-485 now

Hello:

My I-140 has been approved and my priority date is June 2007. Can I file my I-485 now. My employer told me that I have to wait until USCIS open up a date to file such applications. I personally think that this info is wrong and I can file I-485 anytime afterI-140 approval regardless of current priority date.

Please let me know if someone has the correct legal information regaarding filing ofI-485

You file 485 when your PD is current. Your PD is pretty recent, join the decade long queue and relax

Your personal opinion is wrong. Wait for your PD to become current. They are currently serving token #xyz and you are still in line to get a token and the line is miles long.

But if I 140 is approve and I485 is pending then can you add your wife to the process or need to wait till PD gets current. USCIS Customer service said wife's application can be added if I 140 is approved and I 1485 pending.

Did not move an inch since last four months. I feel jealous of the people who got lucky 2 years back when the Priority date accidentally got current.
