H1 B Renewal

My current HB1 expires in Sep 2009 (I can apply for another 3 years before I reach the 6 year limit)

I know I can apply in March 2009 and I am getting ready to do so - my I140 is already approved and I have joined the miles and decade long line waiting for PD to become current

My question is - My H1B renewal is NOT subject to the CAP right?

Yes, it is not. Extensions are not.
