Hi ,
I have done my MS in the US and got my H1 in the 2008 cap through a consultancy who I work for. As I finished my project in Nov 2008 and with an intention to get my H1 stamped I came to visit India thinking I would get back to the US when I find my next project in a couple of months . I got my
H1B visa stamped . Meanwhile , I got an offer from a well-known MNC in India (a full-time and I will have to work in India obviously) , which I want to take up.
So taking into consideration i) current job market globally ii) good offer from MNC iii) one fine day I will like to get back to the US may be after 2 or 3 yrs either through this MNC or on my own....
1. do you suggest me to take this offer as I do not know how this will effect my H1 visa
2. can I keep my H1B visa with my consultancy in the US or will I have to transfer it to the new India company which I will be working for ?
3. In case I transfer my H1 to this new MNC and this company does not send me to the US in the next 2 or 3yrs and decide to quit..will i have to find a new employer in the US to go there?
4. Also how will this entire process(if i stay back in India for 2yrs now and go back to the US) effect in applying for a Green card.
