Hi experts,
I am currently working in USA on valid L1-A visa since 2006 with Company 'A'.
Last year I applied for H1-B with company 'B' and It got approved in Oct 2008.
I have not stamped my H1-B visa yet ..I have only valid L1-A stamp on my passport..
Now, As I haven't been able to join Company 'B' they are going to cancel my H1-b visa this month (April 09) .
I am currently looking for a permanent position in USA and might get lucky in 2-3 months time..(say June-July '09 )
What will the options to get back on valid H1-B at that time ?
1. Do the new complany had to apply for new H1-B for me ?
2. Will I be going through normal H1-B process (loterry/quota etc. )
3. What are the chances of getting new H1-B after the current gets cancelled this month ?
I really appriciate your help with this.
Thanks for your time in advance,
