Hello,

Please advise me

H1B visa expired: Sep 30 2008
Extesnion applied on July 10th 2008 @ VSC
Request for Additional Evidence received on Mar 22nd 2009

I have completed the 240 days period by march 10th 2009.

1. Is my stay in US is legal after completion of 240 days period?
2. As i am currently on project is it legal that my company can run my payroll?

You cannot work past 240 days. As far as legal stay, it is authorized period of stay on a pending application. Talk to your attorney.
